Reorientation of the Russian Federation’s foreign trade toward Asian markets
The current configuration of the Russian Federation’s foreign trade relations shows a pronounced trend toward a geographical reorientation of export and import flows. Steady growth in trade turnover with countries of the Asian macroregion contrasts with the contraction of trade ties with European partners. This transformation reflects fundamental changes in international economic relations, driven both by external constraints and by the internal logic of foreign economic ties.
